Instrumental Music

Instrumental music at ENMU offers outstanding training to talented woodwind, brass, keyboard and percussion musicians. Students receive thorough preparation for careers as music educators, chamber musicians, band and orchestra instrumentalists, and soloists. The exceptional range and depth of programs provide the specialization and breadth of training to meet individual needs and the demands of today's music professions. At ENMU, private study with a major artist-teacher and intensive performance experience are the foundations for developing professional instrumentalists. Students give many public performances in bands and smaller ensembles under the direction of eminent faculty and guest conductors.
