Graduation

Students completing their degrees must apply for graduation during the semester in which they intend to graduate.

Application Deadines:

  • Fall graduation: Friday, Sept. 12, 2008
  • Spring graduation: Friday, Feb. 1, 2009
  • Summer graduation: Friday, June 13, 2009

If you have any questions, contact Ms. Laura Smart or Ms. Pat Gallegos in the Office of the Registrar, 575.562.2175, or go to the Administration Building, Room 105.

Undergraduate Students

  1. Complete the Student Satisfaction Survey.
  2. Complete the Undergraduate Approval for Graduation.
  3. Pay the $10 graduation fee and any commencement fees to the cashier in the Administration Building.
  4. Submit the Undergraduate Approval for Graduation to the Office of the Registrar in the Administration Building, Room 105, accompanied by your receipt from the cashier's office.
  5. If you plan to march in commencement, go to the bookstore to purchase your regalia for $32.98.

Graduate Students

  1. Complete the Student Satisfaction Survey.
  2. Complete the Graduate Application for Graduation form.
  3. Pay the $10 graduation fee to the cashier in the Administration Building.
  4. Return your Graduate Application for Graduation form to your graduate coordinator.
  5. If you plan to march in commencement, go to the bookstore to purchase your regalia for $32.98.
